Like most private music teachers we require 24 hours notice for any
cancellations. If a lesson is booked in and cancelled with a period any less than 24 hours the lesson is charged is full. We are unable to make any exception regardless of circumstances.
We will always do our best to accommodate you as best we can to give you the most ideal time slot. If 24 hours notice is not given the lesson will be charged in full.
Trial Lessons - The 24 hour cancellation policy applies also to the first trial lesson. If less than 24 hours notice is given to cancel a trial lesson the free lesson is then immediately forfeited. You will still be able to book another lesson with us but the payment must be made upfront before we can accept a further booking from you.
Cancellation during a block of Lessons
If lessons are cancelled during a block of lessons the lessons can be transferred to another person and resumed without extra charge. We are however unable to refund the block lesson payment once it has been started. If a block of lessons is cancelled before lessons have begun a refund can be given within 30 days of request.
Reasons we have to have this policy.
- Our lessons run back to back so any late cancellations will leave gaps in time tables which could have been given to someone else.
- Our teachers earn a living from lessons so will be loosing income if a lesson is canceled without the proper notice.
us notice of a cancellation gives us time to book somebody else in (we
often have students who can fill slots with enough notice).
